  When You Would Hear A Talk About Committing “Secret Sins” How Did You React?

  it seemed as if every year a talk would be given in the congregation or at a convention about “secret sins”.

  very predictably, witnesses would have pangs of conscience and confess their secret sin.. back in the 70s, one sister with an unbelieving mate went to the elders to confess about husband and her engaging in oral sex.

  she was privately reproved for her “sin” and every so often would approach the elders to say she slipped up again.. i know i’d never tell anybody about my sex life just because of misguided guilt.

  It has got to be a real bitch that the Watchtower Corporation has to actually make this embarrassing information public, what a bunch of stooges run this nit wit organization. I think this opens them to breaches in privacy type lawsuits.

  Any judge can read for themselves what these total assholes have written and throw the book at them$$$$$$.

  Is a Judge trying a case against the Watchtower Corporation for what ever reason forbidden to do his own research on the internet about this evil manipulating mind control cult? I don't think so.

  What effect is the Watchtower Corporation internet presents having on the amount of money awarded in lawsuits?

  Yes but I wouldn't make much of a protest about it, I would just temporarily feel sad but nothing more unless they were close to me some how. There are too many wrongs in the world for me to ruffle my feather over some Christians get less than fair treatment.

  I guess the politically correct answer would be: "Yes I hate it and think the world would be a better place without it"

  But personally as far as I'm concerned wrongful treatment of Christians it is a very low priority of mine when I look at very big picture of evils(or supposed evils)that my fellow humans worldwide are subject to. So honestly I would say unless it effected anyone close to me it would barely make a dent in my concern.

  Lets face it wrongful treatment of people happens all the time, and if one gets all depressed over it, it is not a good thing so you have to some way of limiting the negative impact. I myself choose not to be all that concerned what happens to people the farther away they are from where I live, because there is little in what I can do. so I guess it is simply a matter of recognizing my limitations and not biting off more than I can chew.

  I know this sound very callous, but I'm trying hard to be honest here and not swayed by supposed politically correctness as viewed by posters from all around the world.

  Let's not blow this whole human poo thing out of proportion SF is a very nice city to visit on think the poo report is an effort for the city solve the problem by perhaps a poo hot line to report poos so they can rush and pick it up, bottom line how much could this cost the city to fix.

  Lets not forget they have a homeless problem just like so many cities in the US and all over the world and blow this thing way over the edge of what ever.

  I live near SF and go there on a semi frequent basis but never seen doggy poo as that much of a problem. Never seen any human poo. I imagine it could be a problem with the homeless living on the street with things looking very bleak for them,, hey just take a shit on the sidewalk to show your dissatisfaction with your lot in life or what not.

  I personally wouldn't do it, but don't find anything wrong In what he did. So what if it feeds their persecution complex, some may get the message, that the KH shits as a place to raise your kids and start looking up info on these crooks in sheep clothing.

  Young ones are leaving in droves because they are looking up stuff on the internet. There is no one in the congregation for young people to do things with, many are left with no choice but to find worldly friends. This religion is on its deathbed.

  I enjoyed listening to him, we can all form our own opinions about these psychic events, culture seems to play very large part on what a person's NDE experiences. Excepting death and leaving everything behind seems to be the most important lesson these experiences tell him.

  Sounds as good as any interpretation. I kind of like the Gnostic interpretation that basically Jehovah was a fuck up right from the beginning, and doesn't have a pure motive for forbidding knowledge namely to keep them under his control(which kinda fits the MO of the Governing Body and forbidding higher education).
